Baker Tilly Zimbabwe continues to build its local network with the addition of law firm Mundia & Mudhara
Effective 1 September 2020, Baker Tilly Zimbabwe, an integrated professional services firm operating out of Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and Malawi, has further expanded its client services by welcoming Zimbabwean law firm Mundia & Mudhara to its local network.
Mundia & Mudhara is a full service commercial and corporate law practice and brings a new set of capabilities to support clients across the region. The move comes just two months after Baker Tilly Zimbabwe announced it had welcomed locally renowned HR Consulting firm LoriMak Africa to its network.
“I am delighted with this ongoing broadening of our service capabilities within our growing African region,” said Ted Verkade, Baker Tilly network CEO.
“Increasingly, clients want integrated solutions to their business needs to help them maximise opportunities and make bold decisions around tomorrow’s challenges. The arrival of Mundia & Mudhara further strengthens our ability to support our clients in this respect and offer a fully integrated advisory service. Africa is an exciting region right now, and the commencement of the new African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) on 1 January 2021 has the potential to transform the region even further. Bringing Mundia & Mudhara into our network strengthens our position to help our clients take advantage of the new opportunities the AfCFTA will bring.”
Phibion Gwatidzo, Chief Executive Officer of Baker Tilly Zimbabwe said: “I am excited to be welcoming Mundia & Mudhara into our local African network. Their focus on delivering exceptional and novel solutions to clients’ problems makes them the perfect fit for Baker Tilly and to support us in our commitment to building a structure today, that ensures we are prepared for tomorrow.”
Blessing Mudhara, Managing Partner at Mundia & Mudhara commented: “We are happy to be a part of this global network. It helps us create important synergies in our service delivery to clients.”
