Network grows its position in key Italian cities
Baker Tilly International has significantly expanded its footprint in Italy by welcoming four new tax firms to its network: WCT Advisors (Turin), Bolla Bergero Bianco – CTL Consultancy (Genoa and Savona), Studio Colombo Galli Sole Massara & Partners (Novara) and MTEA (Rome). All firms have secondary offices in Milan.
The firms join existing members Baker Tilly (Italy) and Baker Tilly Italia Legal to form a local, integrated services network in Italy. All new firms have adopted the Baker Tilly brand with immediate effect.
“Our strategy in Italy is to offer an integrated service solution to ensure we possess the competitive presence and technical excellence to deliver value to, and ensure the success of, the clients who confidently choose us”, explains Baker Tilly’s global Chairman, Alan Whitman.
“With the addition of these four new firms we are well positioned to advise and support our clients in all areas of local tax and compliance. These services naturally complement the audit, corporate finance, legal and other advisory services offered by our existing network in Italy. We are now able to provide a full range of professional services in Italy under the Baker Tilly brand. This milestone forms a key part of the newly formed Italian network’s strategy, which aims to expand service capabilities and critical mass across key Italy locations in the coming years.”
Xavier Mercadé Sanmartí, the network’s Regional Chairman for Europe, Middle East and Africa added: “Italy is one of the largest markets in Europe and at the forefront of European economic and political unification. This development, which brings to our network more than 80 people across six key Italian cities, significantly enhances our presence in this important business market and allows us to offer clients even greater resources and expertise in Europe as we bring the world together through knowledge and connection.”
